Participants may not be approved after the application deadline. There will be no applications or requests for entry to the Parade the day of the event. In the event of adverse weather on parade day, call 651-9713 or tune to WHTM TV27, Harrisburg, PA.

Ackowledgement of Code of Conduct

In consideration of my organization, group and/or me individually being permitted to participate in the Harrisburg Saint Patrick's Day Parade and related events held in Harrisburg on Saturday, March 15, 2008, the undersigned hereby agrees that I/we will comport myself/ourselves at all times with the necessary dignity and decorum required of this event and with prevailing community standards for appropriate behavior at public events in and around the City of Harrisburg. It is understood that all movement during the parade will be forward. There will be NO STOPPING for performance(s) of any kind. A timed performance period of one (1) to three (3) minutes is only permitted directly in front of the Dias. Any performance exceeding the maximum time will be terminated at the direction of the Dias Committee Person-In-Charge. The only flags permitted to be carried during the course and duration of the parade will be the United States Flag, Flag of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Flag of the Irish Republic, Irish Province Flags, Erin go Braugh Flag, and flags pertaining to the 69th Irish Regiment of the American Civil War.

Waiver of Claims for Liability

In consideration of my organization and/or myself individually being permitted to participate in the Harrisburg Saint Patrick's Day Parade and related events held in Harrisburg on Saturday, March 15, 2008, the undersigned hereby agrees, on behalf of said organization and its individual members, and/or myself, to indemnify, defend, hold harmless and release the Harrisburg Saint Patrick's Day Parade Association, any and all parade sponsors, and the City of Harrisburg, and their elected and appointed officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any and all lawsuits, damages, claims, judgments, losses, liability or expenses arising out of such participation, whether or not caused by the alleged negligence or any acts of omissions of said committee, sponsors or the city. I also understand that insurance may not have been procured to cover participants in the parade. I further understand and acknowledge that photographs or video may be taken during the parade and related events for use in publication and new releases without my written consent.
